How Do I Enable Two-factor Authentication on My Account Using Google Authenticator? Support -

We highly recommend all users to enable two-factor authentication on their account. You can do this by logging in and going to your Account Settings page, then following the steps below.

How to enable two-factor authentication on your account:

1. Download and install the Google Authenticator app.

Google Authenticator is available for iOS and Android.

For more information on installing Google Authenticator on your device, click here:

2. Go to your Account Settings page to enable.

Log on to your account. Click your email on the top right and select Settings (or go to )

Look under "Two-Factor Authentication" and click the "Enable 2FA" button.

You will be redirected to a page with a QR code, similar to this:

3. Open your authenticator app and add an entry.

If using the QR code option on Google Authenticator:

Open the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone and click on the "edit" button (pencil icon on the upper right-hand side).

Click the "+" button at the bottom of the screen.

This will bring you to a screen with two options: "Scan barcode," and "Manual entry." Click "Scan barcode," then capture the QR code on the page with your phone camera.

The app will immediately generate a 6-digit verification code for your account. This code changes every 30 seconds (you will know it is about to change when the font turns red and starts blinking).

Whenever you log on to your user account, you will be asked, first to enter your user email and password, and then to provide the latest verification code generated by Google Authenticator.
